Assistant Project Manager

EQR's Project Management Group is hiring Assistant Project Manager(s) to support and learn the role of Project Management within our Environmental Construction Department. This fast-paced position provides exposure to construction cost accounting and project management process. This position is an excellent entry point and provides the training required to transition to a full Project Manager role.

Equipment Operator (Richmond Area)

EQR's Operations Group is looking for skilled Equipment Operator(s) in the Richmond area to join the Team. Equipment Operators work to support, or directly implement, dynamic environmental construction projects with our dedicated, highly skilled teams. We work hard year-round to build projects that improve our local watersheds.

Qualifications:

** Must live in the Richmond area or surrounding areas**

Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation to get to the remote sites.
This position requires manual dexterity of the hands and bending, and twisting associated with heavy lifting. This position requires lifting heavy materials and equipment and often requires working outside in the elements in all seasons and weather conditions. The body senses of sight, hearing (safety), and verbal communication is required.
Must be able lift and carry 80 lbs.
Good communication skills.
Construction Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Excavator Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Field Technician

We are looking for driven Field Technician(s) who are interested in supporting and learning the role of a Layout Foreperson. This is an excellent entry level position for those who enjoy being outside, are interested in construction field operations and like taking an active role in building projects to improve water quality. 

Fleet Mechanic

EQR's Operations Group is looking for knowledgeable and dependable Fleet Mechanic to join the EQR Team. The Fleet Mechanic will perform repair work and maintenance for cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles for a construction company’s fleet.

General Laborer

EQR's Operations Group is looking for reliable General Laborer(s) to join our crews. The General Laborer is viewed as a vital team member performing work on a wide variety of projects.  The position offers great opportunity to gain hands on experience in the field of environmental protection and restoration.  The position can serve as a stepping stone to other company roles.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

EQR's Operations Group is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to help further maintain our large fleet of heavy equipment. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic plays a key role performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our equipment to minimize impacts to production.

Layout Foreperson

Our Operations Group is looking for competent Layout Foreperson(s) to support our construction crews. Layout Foreperson perform an essential role in maintaining project quality and work closely with highly skilled operations personnel.  The position offers an outstanding opportunity to learn the function and proper construction of numerous types of structures encountered in environmental construction.
